Strawberry Smoothie

This recipe creates a great snack because it is quick and easy to make, inexpensive to put together, and it is a very healthy alternative to other snacks. I hope you enjoy this strawberry smoothie! Click “Continue Reading” to see the recipe!

Servings: 4

Ingredients:
1 pint (2 cups) strawberries
1 cup milk
2 containers (6 oz each) strawberry yogurt (about 1 1/3 cups)

Directions:

1) Cut off the hull or ‘cap’ from the strawberries. (If desired, save 4 strawberries for garnish)

2) Place the strawberries, milk, and yogurt into the blender. Cover and blend on high speed for 30 seconds or until smooth.

3) Pour mixture into 4 glasses and garnish each with a reserved strawberry

1 serving (about 1 cup): 140 cal.

Fun Tip: Try using raspberries or blueberries instead of strawberries. To switch it up even more, experiment with other flavors of yogurt. It should work just as well!
